NJP/Bagdogra – Gangtok (4–4.5 hrs approx)

Meet and greet with our representative at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok, is a charming destination that reflects a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. From its serene monasteries and stupas to the bustling local markets, Gangtok offers a unique ambiance. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Day 02
Full-Day Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion (Nathula Optional, Subject to Permit)

After breakfast, drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,000 ft / 3,600 m), a stunning high-altitude alpine lake near the Indo-China border. Enjoy playing in the snow, try a yak ride, and visit the legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Optional Tour: Nathula Pass (14,000 ft / 4,200 m) on the China border can be arranged (except Monday and Tuesday) for Indian nationals only, at an additional cost.

Note: In case of a landslide or any other reason that leads to the closure of Tsomgo Lake, alternative sightseeing arrangements will be provided.

Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, Tashi View Point, Bakthang Waterfalls, Nam Nang Viewpoint, Flower Show Exhibition Center, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, and Do Drul Chorten (Stupa). In the evening, enjoy leisure time and shopping on your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 05
Darjeeling Sightseeing + Toy Train Ride (Optional, at Additional Cost)

Early in the morning (around 4:00 am), visit Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft., the world's third-highest peak). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, Tea Garden, Peace Pagoda, and Japanese Temple.

Optional: Enjoy the Himalayan Heritage Joy Ride (Toy Train) at additional cost.

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..

  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
