Upon arrival at Paro Airport, meet and greet with the representative before proceeding to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, passing through picturesque landscapes, lush green valleys, and traditional Bhutanese villages. Upon reaching Thimphu, check in to the hotel and rest. In the evening, visit Tashichho Dzong (outer view), a majestic fortress that houses the throne room and offices of the King of Bhutan. After breakfast, start the day with a visit to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Dordenma), a giant golden Buddha statue offering panoramic views of the valley. Visit the Hindu Temple and National Memorial Chorten, a revered monument built in memory of Bhutan’s third king. Next, explore Takin Reserve Park, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin. Continue to Simply Bhutan, an interactive museum showcasing Bhutanese culture and traditions. In the afternoon, visit the Bhutan Postal Museum, which depicts the evolution of communication and postal services in Bhutan. Stop by the Nunnery, BBS Tower, Folk and Heritage Museum, and the National Library to learn about Bhutanese history and traditions. Later, explore the Centenary Farmer’s Market, a vibrant place where local handicrafts and organic products are sold. End the day at Craft Bazaar, a perfect spot for souvenir shopping. After breakfast, drive to Paro, enjoying the scenic beauty along the way. Stop near the riverbanks for a refreshing break and capture the stunning Paro Airport viewpoint, known as one of the world’s most challenging airports to land in. Upon reaching Paro, visit Ta Dzong – National Museum, which houses an extensive collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and religious thangkas. Next, explore Rinpung Dzong, also known as the "Fortress of the Heap of Jewels," showcasing Bhutanese architecture and cultural significance. Visit the Museum of Lights, which narrates Bhutan’s transition from darkness to the arrival of electricity. In the evening, experience Bhutanese traditions by trying on Bhutanese attire for memorable photographs. Enjoy leisure time exploring Paro town at your own pace. Overnight stay in Paro.
After an early breakfast, embark on a hike to the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. Perched on a cliff at 3,120 meters above sea level, this sacred monastery offers breathtaking views and a spiritual experience. The hike takes around 4–5 hours round-trip, passing through pine forests and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Alternatively, if you prefer a more relaxed day, visit the sangchen choekhor Monastery, known for its spectacular views of the Paro Valley and sacred Buddhist teachings. Return to Paro and enjoy the evening by trying Bhutanese traditional attire and shopping for local handicrafts in town. Overnight stay in Paro.
